So I plan on removing this smog equipment when I purchase my set of headers, when that day comes

Apparently there's a canister or wired module that goes back to the intake manifold. This is where I'm confused. There's a "T" connector back there and just the fitting for the AIR vacum line goes needs to be plugged? Do I have this right?
