There is an inlet and outlet where coolant runs through the TB that is not needed if you live in a climate that doesn’t have harsh winters. The whole idea is to actually prevent the TB from freezing shut. Most people don’t drive there F-body in these conditions even if they do live in such a climate. In the summer all it does is run hot coolant through the TB that heats it up, which in tern heats the air coming in. All you have to do is disconnect the inlet and outlet and put a brass hose connector in-between the two hoses that takes the place of it running through the TB. Just make sure to secure it out of the way therefore it doesn’t get caught in the belt.
