Default Planned Horsepower Upon Purchase of Your Car?

Curious if people have/had an intent to mod their vehicles engine or if over they years you've come accustom to modifying because of the addiction to always wanting more

My first 4th gen. went about 1 yr. before I really touched anything and just drove it. Then within about a 6 month period I must have had at least $10k put into it easily she was 430rwhp/419rwtq with built top end... unfortunately she R.I.P.

The current one I did all the free mods and flush all fluids, etc. so it's running tip top in it's current state. Plans of mods are currently on hold due to time, current situation, etc. but also know that once it starts there's no going back so might as well cherish the stocker for now ...oh and plan for 500+ rwhp N/A

Im currently around 320whp on the butt-dyno. But at the end of this race season, a guy i know that owns a trans. shop is going to build me a fully race-built 4l60e for free in exchange for sponsorship on my car.

Once that is taken care of, then im pulling the motor and bringing it to tesar engineering. Going to go for 450-500rwhp once me and tesar discuss pricing.

Last time we talked he said it could be around $3500 for a basic 450hp build, so maybe 5k for 500hp.

I've had the SS for 7 years now. It stayed mostly stock for the first 5, LOL. then the 6th year I went crazy. Right now it makes a little over 500hp on spray, but I would like to get it over 500hp N/A, and 750 or so on spray

Mine was stock for all of the drive home and maybe 10 minutes after I got it home. I already had a few goodies waiting for her. Right now I’m at 356rwhp and after a few more bolt-ons and some go fast gas I hope to be as close to 500rwhp as possible. It should be done and dyno tuned by next month so Ill let yall know real soon if my dreams become reality or not

i never planned on keeping mine this long, till i drove it for a little while, then i was hooked! with my bolt on's and the program i am about 315 to 320 or so, working on suspension now and later thinking of a rebuilt short block with an LE2 heads and cam, should be around 415 to 425, cant hardly wait...lol
