Default What to look for when choosing a stall?

How is a converter supposed to be setup according to the vehicle? What options and tips are there in choosing the right one?

A lot of it depends on what engine mods have been done and how you are going to use the car, i.e. daily driver v. track car, mileage concerns, personal preference. And just from my personal experience, don't cheap out.

You daily drive your car. General rule of thumb is street cars like tighter converters, this allows the lockup feature to be alot more fluent and faster. Yank, Vigilante (FTI now) are acouple a great companies. You want to dig deep check out Circle D. They also make great converters.
