Default Rebuilt Tranny Cost?

Curious on what some of the prices are going around. Don't think I will have all the funds in time to do the work myself let alone the workspace when the time comes. We talking about $1,000 if some of the stock parts are used? Don't know what's all wrong with mine or if it's just an easy fix but don't feel like forking $2.5k for new one.

Know it's about $500-$700 labor to pull and replace. Just something wrong with releasing the clutch in 4th gear and sometime 5th gear which would make me assume it's tranny related.

well it only happens in the 3-4 gear shift and sometimes 4-5 which would led me to believe it's tranny related. does not do this in any other gear, and only makes this loud thump/vibration sound as soon as the clutch is fully engaged, so hydraulics should be all gears correct? not just specific gears?

I beleive you are correct in the sense that you would be having a problem in all the gears.... hum intresting

Maybe its a bent fork in the tranny... Im no tranny expert tho.... Shit im no expert in anything lol
