Preferred Drag Radial?
Curious on what the common drag radial every one is running for street use?
Compiled a common list into a poll... if other let it be known

Ive ran Nittos and MT's - The Nittos are good for the street but depending on your power level. I was abel to get them to hook with 460 rwhp but with 18psi in the tires.... Now i run MT with anywhere from 16 to 22 psi and they hook good.
Nittos will last you longer but the MT's hook better.

^exactly what this guy said. I've ran both as well. I have the MT ET Street II's on my car right now, and they're by far my favorite. Their down side is that they have horrible wet weather traction, even when they're new. The tread doesn't last long either, but if you're not driving the car in the rain, it really doesn't matter (other than getting it inspected ).
I say if you think you might have to be driving the car in the rain, get the Nitto's. They aren't all that great in the rain either, but they're at least a lot better than the MT's in the rain.
If it's a weekend warrior (like mine) and rain isn't a concern, MT's all the way baby!

I never run DR on the street unless I'm headed to the track. You never know when its gonna rain in NC.

MT ET Streets get me traction at the top of second which is pretty good, and they hook very well at the track, as long as I'm not launching off the Trans-brake they hook. I am going to try Toyo Proxes TQ drag radials on my stock rims to see how they are, supposed to be better than nittos, not as good as MTs but last longer and do better in the rain.
