what do you guys think?
When spring hits i am going to be painting my 95 z28.... i have a set of chrome c5 Y2K wheels (in really great shape)..... i was thinking about maybe painting just the face part of the spokes and the center of the wheels so they match the car a little better after paint.... my dad says I'm crazy for painting the wheels because of how nice they are.... but the car is going to be mostly silver,,, so i think that they will clash too much being chrome,,,,,, what do you guys think???

I hear alot of guys how paint there chrome rims and they look real nice, if its done right. Please do your homework on this.
What color are you going to paint the car and rims? Maybe someone on here can dig up a picture of that car (to see what yours will look like).

I like the painted rims with the paint sceme of the car. But take the red stripe out and then see what you think. Or if you want to keep the red stripe, think about painting the brake calipers red.

I have it saved both ways with and without the red..... I do have the break calipers red and I got a custom headliner done in black with a red bowtie and silver z28 writing inside of the bowtie.... I personally like the red stripe.... it brightens it up a lot....

haha to RrCoX22...
I"m gonna be in the minority here and give you my honest 2 cents worth. I think it looks hideous with the painted rims. if they were the C6 rims, I'd probably think otherwise, but being C5s... :nonono:
