98-02 tail lights in a 95

ok so i just bought 98-02 tail lights for my 95 z28.. i put them in and took off down the road,,, well i got pulled over about ten mins. from my house.. just got a warning. reason being, the turn signal lights are the same as the brake lights,, lol... but any way, my question is. what do i gotta do the fix this.. what its doing is when i hit the brakes the amber turn signals light up. i didnt realize at the time but i do now that the turn signals and the brake lights are the same bulb,,

the '93-'96's are wired through the turn signals and the +'98's are actually through the light switch. you would need to setup the wiring to run like +98's

correct. I bet if you did a search on tech you would probably find a writeup on it.
