Driver Side Mirror Help

Is it possible to switch the mirrors out of the...casings? so to say. Well long story short my car was egged last night and the *@$@*&$ smashed out the driver side mirror. I salvaged the paint and i just want to know if its possible to and if so how to switch the mirrors out from to the other. When i say mirror i mean just the glass part not the entire unit. thank you ahead of time

yea, it jsut pops off. pry on the plastic part and get it to go all the way to one side, then you can get your fingers back behind it and pry even harder and pop the plastic part with the glass back on.

and sucks about the egging. been there done that, only no busted mirror. were the eggs frozen?

It is really sad to see that we live in a world where this kind of crap is still going on, especially when it happens to 4th-gen F-bodies as they aren't being made anymore. Ever found out who did it, and maybe even why?

luckily no paint damage besides a small scratch on the quarter which im not crying over because the car doesnt have exactly perfect paint. but ive narrowed it down to acouple angry ex girlfriends who know my camaro is the perfect way to yank my heart strings. its just whenever i drive her i become almost enraged when i look into the smashed mirror, which is actually more often then i thought... thanks for the help guys!

you never realize how much you use your mirror until it breaks, lol

or with my brother's car, falls off in your hand when you adjust it.
