just cut out the shape of the vent, but smaller, so there is enough to push down thought the vent and glue to the back side.

man, mine's not even broken and this makes me want to wrap it. looks very nice compared to the plain plastic look IMO

that looks pretty good man, nice job. on my bird, on the bottom left side on the defrost vent, there is about an inch crack there. this write up is very helpful.

Wow dude that looks really good! Mine cracked and I just put one of those carpet things on it. Not the fugly ones that cover everything but one that just covers the plastic part that was cracked. Some guy sells em on ebay. It looks good but I think Im going to do what you did later on down the road. Great job man! Got any pics of it after installed back in the car? Heres a pic of mine, yours looks way better Im sure...

i cant get over how easily they break,,, mine was in great condition.. i took everything apart to put my white faced gauges in put everything back together and the next morning i go in the car to go to work and it was cracked the entire way across.. what sux is i have four 4th gens. the one i drive and three parts cars and everyone is cracked...
