Default radio trouble

i have a 2000 camaro v6 with a salvage title it currently has 69k on it and i'am the second owner the previous owner seem to have crashed it i don't know how but it didn't cause any engine damage at least not that im familiar with just a bunch of body damage that is fixed now the only problem i could find is a small vacuum leak but anyway thats enough of a introduction the problem with the stereo is it will randomly shut off i had a stock radio and decided to swap it out for a after market one thinking that would fix the problem of it randomly shutting off i have a short video that demonstrates the problem

be sure to read the info in the video thanks

the fact that it is happening with a different head unit is bizzare, but the symptom would certainly lead to a loose, faulty wire

So youve eliminated the possibility of being the head unit... Next would be to eliminate the possibility of a loose wire

Just run a new 12v+, Ign and ground and you will be set. run the constant power and ignition to the ignition column 12 volt constant will be red and ignition will be pink, you will lose your r.a.p. but it wont keep cutting off ..... oh make sure to fuse your wire by the source to prevent fire

the12volt.com is a good resource also installdr.com

which would mean the source power has a bad connection... although playing with wires in the dash/firewall area is never fun
