Avatars and Signatures Information

-Avatars

Custom avatars are allowed but not in animated form. All avatars are resized to be kept to a maximum of 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB. Please refrain from using NWS images. Otherwise you also have the option to use the provided avatars.

Note: If you are having trouble finding the section to add an avatar you can click the "User CP" (User Control Panel) link at the top left in the navbar. Scroll down to "Settings & Options" and click "Edit Avatar." From there you can select a "Pre-defined Generic Avatar" or create you own "Custom Avatar" although please remember to keep the avatar within the size limits.

- Signatures

Custom signatures are allowed but not in animated form. All signatures are resized to be kept to a maximum of 500 by 150 pixels or 48.8 KB. Please refrain from using NWS images. Also there is a limit of 7 lines to be used, once that limit is reached you will not be able to add anymore.

Note: If you are having trouble finding the section to add a signature you can click the "User CP" (User Control Panel) link at the top left in the navbar. Scroll down to "Settings & Options" and click "Edit Signature." Please remember to keep the signature within the size limits. Once you have uploaded or created a signature YOU MUST CLICK "Show your signature" UNDER THE "Miscellaneous Options" WITHIN YOUR FIRST POST TO ENABLE THIS OPTION. Once checked the remainder of your posts will include your signature.
