Default Gotta question

Ok.. so last year I threw a rod in my green 95 z28.... I took the bone stock motor out of my 93 z28.. I had to change the wiring and a few other little things but I got it in and it runs fine.... I've decided that I want to build this engine up a little... I want to put a cam in it among other things.... my question is.... can I put a cam in without pulling the motor out of the car??...

That's what I figured... do you or anyone have a good suggestion on a cam.... I just want something mild... nothing crazy... the car is still going to pretty much a daily driver... on nice days of course...

you'll have to take the AC cooler out as well from what I"ve read. but it can be done in-vehicle.

how many miles on the lower end tho? it may be worth it to replace the bearings so you dont stress them too much.

ive been going back and fourth on building this motor up.... i was talking to the g/f and i think i figured out what im going to do....

i have the LT1 that i threw the rod in just laying in on of my sheds... i think im just going to tear it completely down and do a fresh build on it as long as i didnt hurt the block..
