Valve adjustment
I've put together quite a few Chevy motors over the years and I have always used 1/2 turn down from zero lash on hydraulic lifters. I have read anywhere from 1/4 turn all the way to 2 1/2 turns down. I'm just curious what others here use.

i used about 1 1/4 turn when put my LT1 back together after having the heads ported

when i did mine, it was 3/4 turn, so far i got over 1500 miles and no noise
