Default 243 heads, Ls6 intake and headers 2B installed

Well I bought some 243 heads, an Ls6 intake, and Long tube headers all for $700. A pretty good price eh?. I am really happy, and I will be installing these soon, about two to three weeks. What am I looking into here? What bolts and gaskets need to be bought, help me create a list here fellas. From the looks of it I am just swapping all stock parts to these used parts and fitting new gaskets and re-usuing my P. rods and rockers, bought some lifter cause my engine is old. Anythign else I should put in?

Hmmmm...maybe a new cam package...

Definitely a new cam! But you can only run up to a .550 lift with the stock yellow springs on the .243 heads. For example most 224/224 cams have slightly more lift than that. I'd go with some double springs if you do anything other than a stock LS6 cam.

ya you'd need new valve springs on the 243's or if they're already stiffened for increased lift. got any pic's of the heads? or if you already know the info on the heads. far as intake manifold and heads just reuse all the stock bolts, etc. there's really no need to screw with internal valvetrain since the cam isn't being swapped.
