Default Catbacks Have Gone Up in $$$

I remember back about 3-4 yrs. ago that catbacks were easily obtainable within a $200-$600 price range. This was a wide variety of companies too. Now it's basically everything is $500+

Is it just my imagination or is this correct? Probably is just me and not my memory turning on. I've just been out of the scene for a bit Not that I'm looking for a catback either Dumped all the way

When I bought the Hooker catback for my 3rd gen I got one for my TPI car. It just happened that Summit had gone up but Jegs still had it for the cheaper price. It went up 50-60 bucks just like that, might have been more. I had a similar discussion on another board and guys bought Borla's for around $500 years ago and now they are almost $900.

ya... seems like the desperate times really change the big business idea. wonder how it's working out although I mean these prices are basically what vette owners are paying. kind of interesting
