Default headers 02 firebird v6: ceramic vs uncoated

hi all, I would like to get new headers, but how much longer will ceramic coated headers last than uncoated? I am asking because ceramic coated is so much more expensive than uncoated aluminized stell headers

they both will rust... ceramic will produce more of a surface rust where painted could eat paint and then steel much more easier. its more of a situation on your whether. both could last the life of the car but more so of maintenance of product scenario

well, I wont be racing the car, just for regular driving, so the headers wont be getting too hot very often. . but I heard something about wrapping the uncoated headers?

ya there's header wrap... but ultimately it's your choice. more so comes to a "looks" preference as painted also won't hold heat as well put more of case of how important under the hood heat is

well im not really concerned about looks. . im more concerned about adding power from replacing the stock headers with better ones, but i dont wanna have to keep buying new headers. .
