Default headers selection

It's my understanding that 2001/02 LS6 intake equipped ls1's dont have EGR. Most sites group 98 to 02 camaros together for parts selections. What kind of headers do i have to look for if I want to retain functional smog equipment ? Do i still need the headers with AIR injection ports? I'm assuming yes, but just want to be sure.

Probably going to go with pacesetter armor coated long tubes. Unless someone has a suggestion of similar priced headers that would be better.

edit: I want to go with true duals with x pipe crossover yet remain emissions legal (aside from the technicalities of not being allowed to move the equipment around). I'll probably go with a custom exhaust setup from a local shop from cat's back.

Pacesetters are a good choice for the money... You can get them with or without the EGR crap!

what year is your cat? you want to stay emissions legal yet go true duals? ...those don't go hand in hand.

you can basically get race headers and remove your AIR system and EGR if you have it. or you can get headers that match your according emissions equipment.

I'm thinking about doing some headers fairly soon. As well as the rest of my exhaust. All I have so far is a GMMG catback. But I need to register my car in OK first (no exhaust restriction type crap). I might get rid of my EGR crap as IMO it's useless and just adds clutter to the engine bay.

Why do they trouble us by adding magnaflow features which turns out to be craps?
