Default MTI Clear Lid

Was considering picking up one of these only because of looks. Although I hear they fit like crap?!?? Anyone running on of these or past experiences?

I had an MTI lid on my car before I went with the Volant setup. It fit comparatively with how other lids fit, to be honest. They all fit about the same. It's kind of a pain in the ass to get it in there, but overall it's not much of a problem. Mine did wind up cracking at the seam where the inlet is, and when I put the Volant on the car, I just wound up giving it away to a friend, although it probably could have been fixed with a little RTV sealant or something. He has been running it on his car with no problems ever since.

I have heard of fitment issues as well and commonly have them crack near the inlet for the MAF might by a different type of material plastic they use... although most lids should crack under extreme stress
