Hi all, I a mlooking for performance as well as durability, I've heard that getting cast iron headers would be better for my wants, but all I can find are aluminized steel headers. Anyone know where I can get cast iron headers for my 02 firebird v6? thanks

you don't want cast iron... they're heavy and flow no different compared to mild steel. the heat resistance is not worth the hassle. mild steel is what you should be looking for

I've had headers on probably 6 different cars and never seen any warp. If your worried about corrosion just get a ceramic coated header.

you live in houston I see which not quite sure whether you have a large issue with salt from the sea but that's one reason to maybe look into a coating or in an area that snows. otherwise if neither of those are a problem you're all good with just mild steel (surface rust may appear, but that's the norm over years)
