Tuning yourself???????!!!!!
Just found out that my brother-in-law got a programon his computer to tune his caddy with an lt1. I just wondering if it is even worth trying to do it yourself? talked to a dyno shop and they wanted over $500 bucks to tune my car. Sounded a little steep to me. Has anyone had experience with this?

What program did he buy? also it can be pretty tricky. But $500 for a N/A car sounds kinda high to me. Im thinking $350 to $400

I am not sure what program he ended up getting, i will find out this weekend, but what we were thinkin was go out to the drag strip with the laptop and trying to do it that way, idk its better then the "butt dyno". And hopefully we don't blow it up.

MAKE sure you DO know what your doing... you can start with some small adjustments like radiator fan, etc. and figure out how to change calibrations back before any MAJOR tuning

By the time the winter ends and and the strip opens up again, i will have researched it enough so i will know what to change, and yes i will write down what stock is just incase i completely fuck it up. To start off we will prolly try it on his bone stock caddy, just to see how it works and then go from there.
