Default Cleaning Injectors

Curious if anyone has done a process of taking them off and dipping the ends into a solvent cleaner like acetone or something and figuring a way out to have the plunger open to pour some into the injector line?

Not being recommended by gm and not being a good idea are not the same thing all the time. The same is true for things recommended by gm, like dexcool.

That being said, acetone can be extremely harmful to rubbers and some plastics. Have you tried sea foam or some similar off the shelf cleaners and determined that they didn't work already? I would go that route before a "manual" cleaning like you suggested.

Really no way other then sending them out to be professionally cleaned. Injectors don't allow for a reverse flow unless they're pulsing. So when assembled there's really no way to do it at home.

It would be alot easier to try a cleaner like "Sea Foam" or something, mixed with the gas before manualy cleaning the injectors.
